Ed Sheeran Has Gotten Engaged And The Internet Is Weeping
Fans of Sheeran's love songs are delighted and devastated to hear that the singer is now officially off the market.
Sheeran has gotten engaged to his long-term partner Cherry Seaborn and made the announcement official by posting on Instagram - as you do these days. On the photo he said: "very happy and in love" and joked that their cats are happy too.
The couple met in school but only got together in 2015 and spent most of 2016 travelling the world together during his year off from music.
Cherry is a hockey star and helped England U21's win the bronze medal at the 2012 European Championships. Of course fans of the 'Galway Girl' singer went crazy on Twitter:
