Blur Will Release A New Album

Damon Albarn has announced that the much beloved Britpop quartet will get to work on an eight studio album after his own solo album is finished.

The prolific all-rounder has recently worked in opera and with various other artists such as Bobby Womack between touring commitments with Blur who released two songs last year, "The Puritan" and "Under the Westway." While fans have been enthusiastic about their gigs (including one in Dublin this August), there has been much anticipation since 2009 (when they reunited) that there would be a follow-up to 2003's Think Thank. Well, it seems like fans won't have to wait much longer because ten years on, the second-most influential 90s band are ready to take the reigns again!
