6 Steps To Getting Out Of The Friend Zone
The friend zone is a place that we sometimes like putting people in, but other times we would do anything to get out of. I mean don't get me wrong, friendship is great. But it's not exactly what you have in mind when it comes to the person you can't stop thinking about. The crush may have come on suddenly, or you may have always liked that super sexy 'friend.' Either way, getting out of there is crucial, and it's harder than it looks.
1. Be Cool. Get A Life.
Don't be as available as you usually are. We know that you see it the second he texts you, but he doesn't need to know that. Let him think that you're doing something more interesting than waiting on a text from him. Let him wonder "who is she with? what's she doing?" The whole point is to show him that you have a life, and in that life you're meeting loads of guys who are falling in love with you because you're fucking class.
2. Talk About Your Romantic Interests.
Don't like throw it in their faces about other people, but let them know that you're not just laying around waiting for them to fall in love with you. If he has any interest in you at all, you talking about someone else will make him realise that. Casually mention someone who has been chancing you, or talk about how sexy you think someone is. Mind games people.
3. Don't Be Needy.
Nobody likes a needy bitch. Don't get pissed off if he cancels plans. Don't nag him for stupid things, like talking to other girls. Basically don't act like a typical, annoying girlfriend. Cause then he won't want you to ever be his girlfriend. It's basically maths. 1 + 1 = This could go somewhere. Annoying bitch + pissed off lad = Not even friends anymore.
4. Show Them You're Sexy AF.
The toughest thing in the transition from friends to something more, is the aspect of attraction. You obviously find your 'friend' attractive, but do they find you sexay? You should switch it up a bit. Your friend will think you are deep, sexy and mysterious. People like surprises. A makeover will make you seem mysterious. When you come in with a brand new look, all of a sudden your friend will start wondering what else you're capable of. Your friend will think you are deep and mysterious, with special talents that they can't even fathom. We hate to be superficial, but we are. And so is your friend.
5. Do NOT Drunk Text/Call.
The worst way your friend can find out that you like them, is a drunken text at 5am saying 'Hey lieke I kno we''r friends but maybx you wanan be MOOORE tahn frineds? ;;)))" There is no way that you're going to get out of the friend zone if they know you're very interested. MIND GAMES PEOPLE, MIND GAMES.
6. "Don't You Fall In love With Me Now."
This sentence is much more powerful than anyone thinks. It's a stupid sentence that you can throw into pretty much any conversation... but it gets him thinking. Don't ask me why. It's science. I suppose it makes him think about you in a romantic way. Then he realises how class you are and boom, marriage and children.
