Jessie J Pulls Out Of Phoenix Park Gig

Jessie J has pulled out of performing as a support act for Justin Timberlake in the Phoenix Park today. The singer, who has just recently quit The Voice, cited a sore throat as the reason for her cancellation. Yesterday the 25-year-old left over 150 fans disappointed when she failed to turn up to the 2 FM studios, with her Tour Manager arriving just 15 minutes before her slot to say that she was ill with a sore throat. Tonight would have been Jessie’s first time performing in Ireland since the Trinity Ball fiasco in 2011.

MCD Productions have stated on their website that Irish boyband The Coronas will be playing instead, joining both Justin and X Factor winner James Arthur. Fair play, lads!

A limited number of tickets are still available for tonight’s show, priced at €79.50
