Horror junkies are a rare breed, but when you're one of those types of thrill-seekers, you've simply got to feed yourself with the scariest things around! Here's the top 5 things to do this October to get your next fix!

2. One Really Scary Horror Film - The Ring.
An excellent movie, filled with frightening moments and "jumpy" scenes, and a terrifying and sinister girl who will haunt you in your nightmares! If you haven't seen it, watch it now and you'll be sure to have a few sleepless nights! The story 'The Ring' is simple and effective - an unsuspecting viewer watches a tape full of creepy imagery and a creepier girl. One week later, they're found dead from sinister but mysterious causes. And when our lovely heroine becomes the latest viewer, she has only days to save herself and her family from this deadly curse.
3. A Horrifying Book - The Shining.
This is without a doubt the scariest book I have ever read! Jack Torrance is a struggling writer who accepts a job as a winter caretaker for the Overlook Hotel in the Colorado Mountains. The knowledge that the previous caretaker had gone insane and murdered his family fails to scare him away. But when both Jack and his son begin communing with the many spirits haunting the Overlook, things quickly take a turn for the worse. Deadly hedge mazes, elevators full of blood and the terrifying Room 237 are only some of the horrors that await the reader. This is a must read for any horror fan. And guess what? You can actually STAY at The Stanley Hotel where Stephen King was inspired to write the book. An added twist: The Stanley Hotel shows the uncut R-rated version of The Shining on a continuous loop on Channel 42 on guest room televisions.
4. Do A Ouija Board.
The beauty of it (if you can call it that) is that you don't have to spend money on one - you can simply create your own one at home. Some people are obsessed with the afterlife and contacting the afterlife. I'm a skeptic but I still wouldn't mess with one of these! I've heard more than a few scary tales of Ouija boards going wrong.
5. Visit The Hellfire Club.
Perched high on a mountain-top overlooking the city of Dublin, The Hellfire Club is a place of evil and terror. Built in the 18th century on the site of a sacred Stone Age tomb, The Hellfire Club was constructed in a spirit of blasphemy and sacrilege. The young bucks who built it said it was a hunting lodge. It’s real purpose – the worship of The Devil! It is said to be haunted by many ghosts. You might just hear the screams of a woman who was rolled down the hill to her death – in a burning barrel! Locals avoid the area after dark. Some visitors have reported the strange smell of Brimstone – unsurprising given that Satan himself has been known to pay a visit!
