She's Not Going Home With You... Signs You've Been Put Into The Friend Zone

Friendzoning; when you're put into a platonic relationship against your will. When you are attracted to someone but despite your best efforts, they have boxed you off and labeled you as a mate. Most of us have experienced the "Friendzone"  at some stage in their life. It's safe to say it is thee most frustrating situation to be in. Friendzoning someone may be be nothing to you, but its shit on the receiving end!

So here is a few of our favourite things that go down in the Friendzone.

1. They're never short of telling you about all the best bums and boobs in the world. And also they will comment on those of your best friends and how incredible they are. But of course, never yours.

2. You keep thinking life is like a movie and one day you will gain the courage to  proclaim your undying love for him/her and he/she will feel the same way about you. Mate, this isn't a Nicholas Sparks book... That shit is never going to happen.

3. You guys flirt more than you make normal conversation, a few shneaaky taps on the shoulder/arm, but it doesn't mean anything  because you're best friends *gritted teeth*

4. Every time people pick up on your high pitched voice or hyperness when around the person that's friend zoned you, you have to reassure them you're just friends and you would "never like them like that...grosse". *GULP*

5. On nights out, they are so much craic and you guys have so much fun together but they'll always find someone to go home with or score someone else in fear of ruining the "friendship".

6. You painfully see them with someone who does not deserve them and is annoying, desperate and clingy (at least that's how you see them). But you can't say anything because your the best of friends. #Bffs #Bezzies

7. Every time you have good news or something's happening in your life they are the first person to come to mind .

8. They have called you "Bro", "Pal ", "Mate" and for the ultimate friends zone; "Sister".

If you experience all of these things then yes, you are in the friend zone and no it's not an easy transition to get out of but we support you 100% and hope you end up like Pacey and Joey, Zach and Kelly, Monica and Chandler... and the rest. Stranger things have happened! Go get em tiger!
