Turns Out Men Used To Have An Actual Bone Down There

Yes lads, males used to have a penis bone.

Scientists have discovered that our ancestors used to have a penis bone, but it disappeared as a result of marriage and monogamy.

Researchers at the University College London made this discovery and traced the role of the penis bone, the baculum, back to 50 million years ago. We apparently lost it about 1.9 million years ago as our mating habits began to change.

Another fun fact is that the bones were larger in males that spent a longer time with their partners. We lost the bone when we began getting with fewer mates and in turn, used the penis less.
