  •  "Blurred Lines" remains on top of the Irish Singles Charts as well as the UK's whilst Black Sabbath's 13 has taken the No. 1 spot in the UK album Charts with Queens of the Stone Age keeping the Irish #1 LP.
  • Adele and PJ Harvey have been awarded the MBE by the Queen. This was part of her Birthday's honour list- there is surely no better way to spend your 80s.
  • Alex James of Blur has said their recording sessions went well in Hong Kong. Speculation has been building for some time now on whether the band will release an 8th studio album but it's still in the fog as far as the fans are concerned.
  • Dizzee Rascal has said he would like to collaborate with Tom Jones. The rapper who has recently announced his next studio album has collaborated with many in wacky songs, including one recently with Robbie Williams.
  • Queens of the Stone Age have announced dates for the UK and Ireland. They will play Dublin on the 17th November. Tickets go on sale next Friday at 9am and will probably sell out very quickly so get on it.
