I think the man whose face I've seen pure terror, sheer undiluted panic etched across the most in recent times is Aengus MacGrianna. As renowned for making presenting the news look smooth and effortless as he is for making an absolute hames of presenting the news and becoming a wonderfully flustered shambles on live television.
It must be an absolute joy working with MacGrianna, not knowing quite what he'll be bringing to the table each day. Will he be cool and composed and easily glide through a harrowing piece about the developing troubles in Myanmar, or will he spill hit molten coffee all over his lap and curl up on the desk gently weeping over his singed loins.
We all know the classic MacGrianna scrapes; applying make-up without realising he's actually live on air; accidentally just wandering around behind a news panel during a broadcast, like some child lost in a supermarket; and just simply having his mouth decide that the English language is beyond it and refusing to work. Thankfully, we now have another joyous mistake to add to our ever expanding Aengus MacGrianna blooper reel and it's a doozy.

It may seem cruel to ruthlessly catalogue the occasional professional mishaps of one man for our own voyeuristic pleasure. After all, who among us can say that we are guilt free when it comes to dropping clangers in work, I for instance, in a previous job, accidentally contrived a situation where a child wet themselves in a queue of people. There was piss, everywhere. Thankfully though, aside from this foolhardy revelation, there unfortunate event went largely undocumented.
