Terrible reports reach us this morning from Down Under that allege the legendary Aussie soap Home and Away could be on its last legs and might be cancelled shortly.
The reports will be massively depressing for longtime stans of Alf, Pippa and everybody else in Thunder Bay. Home And Away premiered in 1988 but ratings of the show have plummeted since 2017 and, according to website TV Blackbox, broadcaster Channel 7 is considering all options with the series.
Home and Away has been a mainstay of the 7pm timeslot for SEVEN consistently over the last 30 years. However, ratings for the show have declined significantly since 2017 as viewers failed to embrace new characters and storylines.

Cancelling the programme seems like an extreme reaction but Home And Away fans should start preparing themselves for the worst, as the programme seems to be in serious decline.
