Pixar have always been renowned for pushing the envelope when it comes to children's movies. So much so that the odd time you'd wonder if some of their offerings - Inside Out case and point - are actually more suited towards adults.
Which brings us to the teaser for Cars 3. Well well well. As trailers go it's about as hard hitting as we've ever seen for a kid's film.

The series' hero, Lightning McQueen seems to have met with a fatal end. Does this mean a definite death or serious 'injury'? It's hard to know but many are leaning towards the former. One person is even speculating as to who's behind the whole disaster:
