As if we needed any more animated movies with seriously weird concepts - The Emoji Movie has been announced. It seems movie execs didn't learn from their mistakes with Pixels, and instead are forging ahead with a film that uses emojis as actual characters.
The best part about the whole thing is Patrick Stewart will be the Poo emoji, plus the movie will star James Corden and Ilana Glazer from Broad City (yas queen!)
Jennifer Coolidge and Maya Rudolph will also voice characters in the film and according to the Guardian, one of the script’s many writers is Mike White, who wrote School of Rock.
The teaser trailer has so far got mostly negative feedback, which could be an ominous sign. Then again Justin Bieber's still got the most number of dislikes ever and he just keeps going from strength to strength.
