On Saturday February 7, Ireland will go to the polls. It's a massive moment for the country and a brilliant opportunity to let their voices be heard (don't forget to vote!).
The election will have repercussions for hardcore Fair City fans. RTÉ have confirmed that the usual Sunday airing of 'Fair City' has been cancelled on February 8 because of election coverage.
To make up for it, RTÉ have said a full hour of 'Fair City' will air on Tuesday February 11, from 8-9pm.
