Given that the festival, as per, already sold out some time ago, the announcement of the final acts is mostly just a formality rather than a push to generate interest in the build-up to the festival. EP has cemented itself, as much through an absence of competition as anything else, as the de facto large-scale music festival in Ireland and - as has been evinced by the mixed bills over the last few years - it will unerringly sell out regardless of the line-up.
That said, having looked at the now fully announced line-up for this year it actually is far better than I was expecting so please feel free to discount the above paragraph as the ramblings of a man who is simply bitter at having not been able to source a ticket.
The Prodigy are the largest of the final acts to be confirmed in the final line-up and seems as if they will be acting as the final headliner for Sunday evening. Picture This have also been added into the line-up.
If you have a ticket, then god speed, if you don't, we will next encounter one another at some point later in the month, both furiously refreshing Seatwave prowling for gratuitously over-priced tickets being sold on.
