Ireland Celebrates As Greg And Amber Leave Love Island Victorious

First Shane Lowry wins The Open, now we have a Love Island winner. It's been a whirlwind few days for the island of Ireland.

Limerick's very own Greg O'Shea, coupled with Newcastle's Amber Rose Gill, arose victorious in the Love Island villa last night. They beat off the likes of Tommy and Molly-Mae, Ovie and India, and Maura and Curtis to split the £50,000 prize between them.

Yesterday's final was nothing more than a recap of the season that's been, casting an eye over the past eight weeks and the drama that ensued. Amber, who's been in since the very start of the season, has been put through the mill, coupling up with Michael originally, only to be stabbed in the back. Greg arrived in the villa barely two weeks ago, coming in and charming the British public to arise victorious.

Greg and Amber's victory came as something of a shock, especially considering Tommy and Molly-Mae had been the strongest couple for weeks. For the cult heroes like Maura and Ovie, ultimately it was their partners/lack of villa time that let them down in the end.

Without further ado, here is all the best reaction to last night's Love Island finale:
