Jason Momoa Shaved His Beard And The Internet Wept

Game of Thrones and Aquaman star, Jason Momoa shaved his beard for the first time since 2012. The purpose of shaving his beard was to raise awareness about the issue of single-use plastics destroying our oceans.

In the short video he shared to his social media accounts, Mamoa says "I just want to do this to bring awareness because plastics are killing our planet".

Mamoa is married to the beautiful Lisa Bonet and they have two kids together Lola Iolani and Nokoa-Wolf. Positive about building a more sustainable future for his children, Mamoa urges followers that 'it's time to make a change, a change for the better..for my kids, for your kids, the world. Let's make a positive change for the health of our planet. Let's clean up our oceans and our land. Join me on this journey. Let's make a switch to INFINITELY RECYCLABLE aluminium. Water in cans, NOT plastic.'
