Every single one of us is guilty of binging on Netflix. Whether we are sick and binging in bed trying to get better, procrastinating from doing college work or just having a simple lazy day, we are all guilty of it. Ever feel like you've run out of things to watch on Netflix? Ever look for something new to watch on the streaming site? Well your prayers have been answered my friend. Netflix have announced that they plan to produce 700 original shows and movies in 2018. 700?!
Netflix spoke at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference in San Francisco on Tuesday and shared their plans for 2018.
“Let’s continue to add content — it’s working, it’s driving growth,” - Netflix CFO David Wells said.
Apparently they have plans to invest over $8 billion into creating original productions. Yes Netflix, this is what we like to hear! We may never get through that list but we will definitely try.
Until then Netflix has added a bunch of new shows for March to keep us going throughout the snow days ahead:
