Dreading opening Netflix just to spend half an hour trying to decide what to watch? Netflix have a solution.
Netflix have began to roll out a new feature on their site, to be tested before being made an extra option on their streaming app.
Although Netflix is bae, and we honestly don't know what we'd do without it, having more options than you usually would on a normal TV channel causes some distress, making us more confused over what to choose rather than just sitting down to watch whatever is already on.
Ever spend half an hour making something to eat, only to sit down and waste time deciding, letting your food and tea go cold, not having a clue what episode to choose from your favourite re-watched series? We've all been there and it's the worst.
It's one of the biggest issues we face as millennials, and it's one of the most important. Picking the wrong episode can cause a heap of regret and wasted time. Yet, we also don't want to be continuously going back to the same episodes over and over just because we know we like them. From Friends, to Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Rick and Morty, Peep show, and more, honestly there's too much to choose from.
Netflix have brought something that may changed our Netflix watching lives, taking away the emotional stress caused by deciding for ourselves. This new shuffle feature will allow Netflix to shuffle through your favourite series, picking out episodes for you to watch without having to lift a finger. Thank you Netflix gods!
Netflix will begin testing this new feature out on certain accounts, on the Android mobile app to see how people react, and if it will be worth keeping as a permanent addition to the site.
Here's hoping all goes well because I can no longer take the stress that comes with not being committed enough to one new series, or having the attention span to follow all the way to the end.
