Well, this is the best election video we've ever seen. Lorcán is in the running for Student Union president at the National University of Ireland, Galway and with this video he'd better win.
The video takes inspiration from Trainspotting and uses some of the well-known tracks from the film (Underworld - Born Slippy and Lust For Life - Iggy Pop) to make a spectacular election video. The video brings you all around some of Galway's most famous dwellings including Róisín Dubh, Spanish Arch, Electric and Salthill.
Lorcán of course lays out his points for bettering the Student Union, but all in tremendous style. In the post Lorcán explains how much time went into making the video,
'4 days of Filming, 5 cameras, 2 soaked sets of clothes, 1 dented car, 1 go pro, countless hours of editing and voiceovers all for this one campaign video that will hopefully make ye laugh! Manifesto points will be up shortly! Thanks to everyone who helped out making the video! a blooper video will be up tomorrow!
