It's the news we've all been waiting for, Netflix have announced the OITNB return date.
The news was announced from a live Netflix event in NYC, where the company put out a live stream announcing 'new content and revealing dates for new seasons of existing shows. The fifth series will be kicking off on the 9th of June and have sent fans of the show into a frenzy.
They also gave us a teaser trailer showing us a tiny glimpse into what to expect from the new season. Some of the characters set to return include Taystee, Red, Piper, Alex, Crazy Eyes and more. The teaser ends with the exciting last scene of Daya pointing a gun at one of the security officers and it left us all wondering what the hell happened.
We might have to wait another five months to feast our eyes on the new series, but we can't wait for it.
