Gossip Girl is known for its couple-swapping plot lines but the connection between Livelys Serena and Badgelys Dan really jumped off the screen. These guys were an unlikely pairing in this sitcom, with Cucocos glamorous girl-across-the-hall to Galeckis nerdy scientist. Blake fell for another co-star when she starred alongside Reynolds in 2011. Although Reynolds claims that they were just "buddies" on set (please) they married in 2012 and welcomed daughter James in December 2014. See, there are some fairy tale endings.

17. Drew Barrymore & Justin Long, Going The Distance

This underrated rom-com sees the trials and tribulations of a couple played by Barrymore and Long. Their chemistry is so authentic and this is due to the fact that the pair dated both before filming and during it. Unfortunately they split soon after and Barrymore is now married to art dealer Will Kopleman and has two little girls. I guess life doesn't always imitate art but it sure does provide you with some electric chemistry on screen!
