One of the most discussed elements of last night's Grammy Awards involved the tribute to Prince that featured Usher and FKA twigs. Of course, FKA twigs was one of the big breakout stars of 2019. Her song 'Cellophane' is incredible and she's matched her amazing album 'Magdalene' with mindblowing, Simone Biles-level pole-dancing.
At last night's Grammy's, producers decided to put twigs into the Prince tribute with John Legend for a rendition of 'When Doves Cry'. But rather than have FKA twigs, you know, sing, all she did was dance. Now of course FKA twigs's dancing is not like anyone else's, but why not have her sing?

So, FKA twigs is being reduced to a Usher backup dancer right now? pic.twitter.com/bvLdkuCVKv

My face when they hardly put the camera on FKA twigs dancing her ass off. Then she didn’t get to sing Purple Rain, or anything for that matter. pic.twitter.com/SXER1as4dm
