The Rose of Tralee is currently searching for young men to participate as this year's Rose of Tralee escorts.
The primary role is to accompany his Rose and ensure that she has a memorable time at the festival, according to the Rose Of Tralee website.
Paul Clabby, who won Escort of the Year in 2018, said that the experience was once-in-a-lifetime.
"There's so many reasons as to why I applied," Clabby said. "I wanted to make friends from all walks of life and immerse myself in one of the world's biggest festivals for celebrating the Irish diaspora and culture.
The Rose of Tralee organisers says the role is ideal for young men looking to meet new people. They add the role is also ideal for anyone looking to travel, build an international network and have "the best year of their life."
RTÉ will name the best escort as "Escort of the Year" on live television during the competition.
Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years of age at the time of the festival, which takes place in August.
Festival organisers will also not consider married or divorced applicants for the role.
