Dry your eyes mate 'cause The Streets are coming and everything's going to be mighty fine...

Founded in Birmingham, The Streets is a hip-hop/ garage collective fronted by singer, instrumentalist Mike Skinner. In the early noughties, the band had a string of hits on the charts especially 'Fit But You Know It' and 'Has It Come To This?'. Fans and critics admired Skinner's wordplay ability but the band hasn't been around for the last number of years after Skinner retired in 2011.

Now Mike Skinner has revealed on Instagram that the band will be reuniting in 2018. The Streets will perform gigs across the UK with an Irish date still yet to be announced - we're crossing everything lads.

Skinner and crew will be visiting Birmingham, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, and London next April. The post has been liked nearly 18,000 times and it looks like the band will be opting to sing all the greats rather than release new material.Tickets go on sale at 9am on the 13th of October.
