It seems Dublin’s dance music fans are in for quite a treat this Friday (March 7th) as up and coming Scottish DJ and producer Jack Eye Jones arrives to play Residence at The Village. He is the latest rising star to make his bow underneath the Residence banner following the visits of MAKJ, Glowinthedark and Feenixpawl in recent months. It seems the innovative house brand is putting down a marker for the future by picking out the names they think are set for bigger things and in Jack Eye Jones they appear to have another gem.
It’s rare that you will see an act with more of a passion for every aspect of an artist’s life than the energetic Scot that is Jack Eye Jones. Whether it be live performance, studio work or his ever popular radio presence the Scotsman has developed a passionate, devoted fan base off the back of his own unbridled love for dance music. His famous line ‘Let Your Neighbours Know’ has become a mantra for those who have encountered him on their summer trips to Ibiza and it also features prominently in his Ibiza Sessions podcast that has been topping the UK charts with increasing regularity of late.
He has also recently stepped up his efforts in the studio with some stellar original productions that have been attracting some top of the line remixers. His upcoming release Playground has been taken on by Tiesto (someone who he has received long standing support from) and he has also lined up a remix from Blasterjaxx of his banger Far East, who are in the news again of late thanks to a massive remix for Armin Van Buuren. Having premiered the Tiesto remix just last Friday it appears JEJ is set for an exciting lead up to this years festivities in Miami. With some great support already forthcoming from many of the big hitters you can be sure his instantly recognizable chords will be ringing out across UMF.
