Singer Accused Of 'Victim- Blaming' After Insane Twitter Comments

Award-winning singer and activist Erykah Badu sparked a Twitter tornado when she shared her thoughts on an article that suggested that girls lengthen their skirts in school so as not to distract their male teachers. She tweeted: "Being attracted to a young woman in a short skirt does not make one a "pervert" It makes them human".

The 45 year old singer has two daughters herself and she agreed with this statement, and posted a number of tweets in support of this theory. The basis of her argument rests on her belief that it's only natural for straight men to be attracted to women, period. Badu fails to even address the issues of age, authority and youth protection.

Good woman yourself Erykah- justifing inappropriate male behaviour within education, essentially shifting the blame from teachers to students. Nice one also, insulting all men by suggesting that they can't control their urges around young girls. So, once more- a big well done to Erykah Badu for talking absolute rubbish and mortifying us all.
