'Conceited' Dublin Footballers Show True Class By Making Fans' Christmas

While Christmas Day is a wonderful experience for many, there is always the unfortunate who have to spend it in hospital, rather than the comfort of their own home. So imagine the joy brought to the patients in Beaumont Hospital, and also Crumlin, yesterday morning when the reigning All-Ireland champions showed up with Sam Maguire in toe.

In Beaumont Hospital, their captain, Stephen Cluxton was joined by his manager, Jim Gavin, and teammates, Jack McCaffery, Brian Fenton, Michael Fitzsimons and Cormac Costello.

All-Ireland champions are always known to visit the likes of Crumlin Children's Hospital the day after the final but for the lads and Jim Gavin to take time out on Christmas morning was a lovely gesture.
