The Definitive Ranking Of The Best Shopping Centres In Ireland

As it's winter and there's possible snow hitting Ireland, I think it's pretty clear that shopping indoors in a shopping centre is much more appealing.

These days, shopping centres have become bigger and better, and have extended opening hours. This is great for shoppers, and not so much for retail workers, but regardless they're an essential for getting all your bits and bobs.

With that in mind, we've decided to round-up the best shopping centres all across Ireland, so if you decide to go on a big day out you'll know exactly what you're getting and where to get it.

1. Dundrum

I think we all knew this was going to be number one. Dundrum is by far the most popular shopping centre in Ireland with its great range of shops, long opening hours and a deadly food court. It's got a great Penneys, a recently opened Chopped, Hollister and loads more.

2. Whitewater Shopping Centre, Kildare

This place isn't too warm which is great, has really long opening hours and loads of shops to choose from.

3. Liffey Valley, Dublin

Thanks to the grand opening of their new mega-Penneys, Liffey Valley has been put back on the map. It's got a big Topshop, a great cinema and a huge food court.

4. Mahon Point, Cork

It has a KFC and a Nando's, pretty decent parking, AND has a farmers market which gives us a fuzzy feeling.

5. Blanchardstown Shopping Centre

It's a less notion-y Dundrum with loads of parking, a huge Penneys and two McDonald's.

6. Victoria Square, Belfast

This place looks like a piece of art with all the shops you could ask for, only con is some of it is outside so it can get chilly.

7. Finally...Jervis

Jervis has a brilliant selection of shops, isn't too big and the smoothie bar is class.
