Why a company would feel the need to make it a requirement to go online regularly on their console is beyond me, but Microsoft have just gone and done that. Sony, yes you guessed it, are making sure that you don't need to be connected to the Internet in order to play video games. Easy.

Four hundred quid is a lot of money to dish out in one go, no one's going to argue that. But with times as they are, it is a helluva lot better than the €499 Microsoft plan on retailing the Xbox One at.
Now, if you will excuse me, I have a bandwagon to catch and a certain blue brand to get reacquainted with.
