How To - Keep Your MakeUp On in the Sun

Keeping your makeup from sliding off your face in extreme heat is no easy task, so here's a few quick tips to make sure your slap stays put.

1. Primer

Use a matte primer. Matte is your friend. If you want that dewy look, add a bit of shimmery highlight after, but anything but matte will just look greasy in the heat.

2. Powder

Blot Powder. If matte primer is your friend, then blot powder is your BFF 5EVA (longa dan 4eva). Blot power has the amazing quality that allows you to pack on layers and layers of the stuff without ever looking cakey. Pretty handy when you're repowdering approx every 30 seconds.

3. Eyeliner

Waterproof eyeliner. There is nothing more unsightly than a panda eye at the beach.

4. Lip Balm

SPF lip balm. Yes your lips can get burned, yes they will look horrific. Ditch the lipstick and grab a trusty Labello.

5. Fix

A fixing spray will help hold everything on in place.  Kind of like a hairspray for your face.

6. SPF

Finally, putting on suncream underneath your foundation will be sticky and uncomfortable. There are tons of foundations out there with a good strong SPF, so try finding one of those instead!
