Mumford & Sons On A Break

Fans of the folk group Mumford & Sons will be dismayed to hear that as of yesterday, the 21st September, the group has announced a hiatus. They concluded their tour for Babel on Friday in Kansas and speaking to Rolling Stone this week, Ben Lovett (keyboards) revealed that the band are taking time to relax, having had barely any for the last few years with their two albums. For the "forseeable" future at least, it seems we can expect no M&S. Speaking in this interview about how long they would take off, he said:

"We have no idea. We just know we're going to take a considerable amount of time  off and just go back to hanging out and having no commitments or pressure or  anything like that. It feels like the last week of school right now, before  school holiday when you're in high school. The atmosphere on the road is one  of... I think everyone's excited about being free of schedules."

For now, you lot will therefore with some other indie-folk band with worldwide success, until they regroup. It could be an 18 month break (like the Killers), it could be longer, it could be shorter. The question is will you wait?
