New Video: "Hold On" by Róisín O

Up-and-coming singer-songwriter Róisín O has just released a rather great video to coincide with her equally amazing tune "Hold On". It's directed by Simon Eustace (who also directed videos for The Coronas, among others), and features Aaron Heffernan, Mirjana Rendulic, Geraldine McAlinden and Colin Condon.

Daughter of singer Mary Black and sister to The Coronas' Danny O'Reilly, her debut album "The Secret Life of Blue" was released a year ago. Described by the Sunday Times as "evoking the likes of Joni Mitchell, Joanna Newsom and Kate Bush", her delicate brand of ethereal indie makes her one to watch in the coming months.

Róisín O has just finished a 14 -date US headline tour and is heading to Germany in October for a 17-date tour supporting Ryan Sheridan. Róisín has also just signed a record deal with JSM in Germany, and her debut album will be released in Germany, Austria & Switzerland on October 4th. Exciting times ahead for the future star!
