We All Want Love: 9 Signs You've Found A Keeper

Through your early dating years, you'll come across some amazing people and some horrible people. Every relationship is a learning curve, until you begin to think slightly differently about one person in particular. If you think this is you, here are nine signs you've found a keeper...

It doesn't feel like other relationships.

You just know when you feel something different about someone. It can take months or years to find out, but when you do, make sure you tell them how you feel as often as possible.

They get on well with your parents/family.

Introducing your other half to the parents can be daunting at any age. Once they've met your family a few times, you should be able to gauge how your family feel about them. If it's all good, and you get a good feeling from the whole thing, you know they're worth keeping.

You can't see yourself being with anyone else.

From your perspective, things seem to be going great. There's nothing you would change about your relationship and from their point of view, they seem to be feeling the same way. To find this sort of affection is hard at any stage of your life, so cherish it while you can!

They make you unbelievably happy.

From the small things to the big romantic gestures, this person knows how to make you happy. They don't even have to do anything in particular, but you get all giddy and over excited at the thought of seeing them. The butterfly effect, so to speak.

They keep it kinky a la bedroom.

Relationships, especially long term ones, can get a bit monotonous in the bedroom if you don't shake things up every so often. But not for your partner. They always know how to turn you on, whether it's something new or something they know you love. Your happy ending is their priority, first and foremost.

They will always care for you.

You notice this the most when you're sick and in need of someone to take care of you. What could be better than a cuddle, some medicine and someone to take care of you when you're down? Make sure to tell your S.O. how much you appreciate this and let them know you'll be there to do the same thing for them when or if, the time comes.

You treat them because it makes you happy.

You know you're starting to feel differently about someone, when you realise it's not just about you anymore. You start to notice things that you want to buy for them instead of for you. If this sounds familiar, then your other half is clearly a keeper.

They open up to you.

Some people take longer than others and some may not be comfortable in sharing every emotional detail of their lives with someone else. It's important for you and your partner to feel comfortable talking to each other about certain issues, so try and make it as easy as you can for one another to do this.

There's nothing better than getting into bed with them.

At the end of the day, there'is nothing better than hopping into bed with the one person you can't wait to snuggle up to. If this is your partner, and the appeal hasn't worn off yet, you know they're a good one. Hold on tight...
