You may not actually realize it but you and your friend are actually a bit closer than normal friends tend to be. You may deny it, but if you really look at your relationship with your best friend it would be classed as Guy Love or a Bromance. Here are the signs that show you clearly are more in love with your best friend, than your actual girlfriend.
11) Your and his inside jokes are hilarious to you, but to everyone else they're childish
You still find toilet humor funny. You guys are both in college and this sort of behavior should be way past you by now. Unfortunately, when you are together, he brings out the silly child in you.
10) You don't notice his quirks
To you he is your best pal, to others he is a second rate hobo. After being around him so long you don't notice the little things like his general appearance, body odor and lack of social skills.
9) Hobbies
You share common interests, but there have always been one or two different hobbies you didn't share. You always learned to put up with their perculiar pastimes. That was until you were introduced to it and now it's your favorite thing to do, if only to spend even more time together.
8) Communication
This one is quite a strange phenmenom, and results in you communicating primarily through the use of quotes from TV shows (Hardy Bucks) or movies (anything with Will Ferrell in it really). Somehow fully fledged conversations can be carried out through Anchorman expressions no one else gets.
7) Food/Money is communal
You trust each other enough to loan money and pay for each other's food after night's out. There are other times though where it is a much bigger investment like college fee's and you are only to quick to oblige.
6) His Home is My Home
You are basically part of the furniture in your friend's house, but even more worrying you are now part of the family. This goes both ways and you spend more time in their house than you do in your own. When you eventually move into together, it will be a whole different story.
5) The Third Wheel
The ultimate test of Guy Love. Your best friend has a new girlfriend great right? Well, now it means there is only a limited time you have to spend with each other. This can put you in an awkward situation you are now the dead weight in the relationship.
4) Drama Queen
You know the drill if your friend gets out of hand it is your job to make sure they don't make a complete ass of themselves...... Well, maybe just a little. When things get heated you feel it is your duty to step in and show your loyalty in dramatic fashion.
3) Inappropriate Snapchats
Well, now this is embarrassing, thankfully Snapchat is instantaneous, even though you can take a screenshot. Usually its a dodgy face or random object, but when you have too much time on your hands you get creative and show your true colours. He gets your sense of humor.
2) Being Needy
As best friends it is good to support each other in their endeavors, whether it be a match or a gig. When you start turning up at his college, work or family reunions its starts to get a bit creepy.

This is a sure sign, talking your friend up or acting weird so they stand out are all sure signs that it is Guy Love. You both decide just to have a good time rather than being on the prowl. Your guy love has truly flourished and truth be told, you wouldn't have it any other way.
