26 Photos That Prove Physical Perfection Just Doesn't Exist

We can't help but look in the mirror or the magazine and desire to look perfect. The thoughts of having everyone in the world think you're the most beautiful human being there ever was or ever could be is momentarily rewarding and then confidence shattering. In our western society there certainly a social pressure put on young women to look impeccably gorgeous. But Esther Honig, a 24 year old radio journalist in Kansis city, decided to have the idea of being physically perfect tested across the world.

She decided to send an image of herself to artists across the globe, asking them to make her beautiful, like one of the women in their fashion magazines. The response shows that blue/green eyes are considered the most beautiful, and the importance of eyeshadow. Overall the message that these collection of photos state is that no matter what your society believes is perfect, it isn't elsewhere.

Here is Ester's original, unphotoshopped image.
