WATCH: Netflix Has Released Trailer For 'Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Part 2’

Exciting times, Netflix just dropped the trailer for the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina Part 2 and it promises to be "scarier" and "sexier" than before.

Now I have to admit I had my reservations when Part One came out at Halloween last year. As someone who grew up on Sabrina the Teenage Witch I was sceptical about a reboot. When I realised the role of Sabrina was played by the same actress that played the annoying kid on Mad Men, this further added to my scepticism. After binge-watching the series in a weekend I was quick to eat own my words on this one. The series based on the 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina', created by Archie Comics is a lot darker than the original series starring Melissa Joan Hart and therefore much to my relief is not comparable. Sure there was some disappointment that the cat doesn't make sassy jokes but you quickly realise that the dark coming of age series is a lot more horror than humour.

Part 2 will focus on Sabrina's struggling to find the balance between her place in the mortal world and her new darker side as well as a love triangle between the mortal Harvey Kinkle and warlock Nicholas Scratch.

The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Part One was wildly successful and met with critical acclaim for the take on the much-loved characters. Initially, Netflix had ordered two seasons of the show. After Sabrina became an instant hit both with a new audience and fans who grew up on the 90's TV show, the streaming giant ordered 16 more episodes for a third and fourth season.

Good news, we don't have long to wait, Part 2 will be released in a matter of weeks on April 5th. If you can't wait until then, part one is still available to view on Netflix.
