Watch: Dublin Rappers Versatile Have Released A New Single

Versatile have been quiet the last few months. Their last single Ear Murder was released on December 30 and there's been little update since. Evidently producing new music, Eskimo Supreme and Casper Walsh have several gigs lined up for the summer, most notably a headline show at the Marquee in Cork. They had their first appearances overseas in January. A tour around the UK sold out, with their after show sessions gaining a lot of interest on social media.

The lads from Ringsend have been hinting that they have an album on the way this summer on social media. They released three songs from the follow-up to Dublin City G's (2017) so far; Lost & Found, Ear Murder, and now Prefontaine.

The track is named after former long distance runner Steve Prefontaine. The video and song are both classic Versatile. It's a return to their roots after the experimental video for Lost & Found. The boys cruise around Dublin in a pink stretch Hummer, and get a KFC in Parnell Street, among other things.
