The Biggest Band Of The 60s Are Coming To Ireland And You'll Want To Be There

It's not any old day that one of the biggest bands in the world decides to come to Ireland and this one is sure to make the history books. Yesterday The Jacksons announced their first EVER live gig in Ireland and we're already queuing for tickets - online of course.

The Motown supergroup includes all its original members Tito, Jackie, Marlon and Jermaine who'll perform their greatest hits alongside a 9 piece band at The Beatyard festival in August.

You can expect to hear the likes“Can You Feel It”, “Never Can Say Goodbye”, “ABC”, “I’ll Be There”, “Shake Your Body”, “Walk Right Now”, “Blame It On The Boogie”, “Wanna Be Startin' Somethin”, “Beat It”,  and “Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough” during their 90 minute set.

With five number 1 albums, 18 number 1 hits, 17 top 10 albums, 17 top 40 singles you can expect to be taken on a journey throughout the history of music with a couple of nods to their legendary brother Michael thrown in, making it the perfect gig for people of all ages.

Tickets are €59.50 and go on sale on Wednesday 7 February at 9am. The Jacksons will headline the first show of an entire weekend of craic agus ceoil at the Beatyard festival during the August Bank Holiday. More acts to be announced for the 4th & 5th of that weekend.

We'll be busy starting somethin' as we wait to get our hands on these golden tickets:
