Celebrities attempting Irish accents is nothing new but by God can they slaughter an accent. Katy Perry is out and about promoting her new album Witness, released today, and joined Eoghan Mc Dermott from RTÉ 2FM.
Okay, sure, it's a mixture of Jamaican, Welsh, Northern Ireland and British but she kinda failed came close? Perry tried to name a few of our biggest sports teams near the end of the video and we couldn't help but cringe.
KP declared her love for Mullingar's finest Niall Horan during the interview, even calling him a "mate", and had nice words to say about each other. Katy was a key player in the formation of 1D as she voted to put Niall through his XFactor audition.

Perry's new album Witness is on Spotify and "ironically" so is all of Taylor Swift's back catalogue of music - anyone else get a chill from that shade? The singer had previously decided to take down and keep her music off Spotify.
