This Irish debate to end all Irish debates is happening right now on Reddit. The correct off licence slang is tearing the country apart!

Apparently you call it offie or offo depending on what county you live in. Wicklow? Offie. Dublin? Offo. Comments came in thick and fast:

Offie = Galway

Offy = Cork x 4

Offie = Belfast

Offo = South Dublin

Others said they just call it off licence or the can shop.
