'Stranger Things' Season Two News: They Finally Address Poor Old Barb

Stranger Things fans will be excited to learn that season 2 will be out in 2017 and loads of details have been recently revealed.

Season 2 will take place a year from where season one finished, and will include the entire young cast as well as a few extras. The Goonies star Sean Astin, will play Winona Ryder's boyfriend, as revealed by David Harbour, who stars as Chief Hopper.

'[Sean is] Winona [Ryder]’s new boyfriend – much to the chagrin to the Chief of Police,' he said at a press panel at Fan2Sea Comic Con.

'It’s a year later in the story, so there are several things that happened last year – like Will has come back – there are certain people in the town that know what happened, and then certain people that don’t know what happened. So there’s a lot of fall out with who knows what.'

Barb's disappearance is finally addressed, as it seems she was completely forgotten about once she disappeared in season one. Harbour added that, 'the question and the feelings that Nancy has that no one ever cares about her friend Barb are very much present in the beginning of the season.'

Well, we would bloody hope so no one cared about poor old Barb after she was killed by the demogorgon in the Upside Down.

You can check out the trailer for season two featuring the titles of each episode below – prepare to get giddy with excitement.
