Billie Eilish is the biggest rising star of 2019. The 17-year-old singer took the music industry by storm with her debut album 'When We All Fall Asleep Where Do We Go?' released in March. Hailed as pops new "It girl", Billie Eilish's unique sound and sense of style have made her a hit with fans of all ages. One of the biggest parts of her appeal is she has co-written and produced all her music with her brother, Finneas, in his bedroom. Billie, who has Irish roots, recently played at Coachella. She is also playing Glastonbury, Leeds and Reading festival this Summer.
Billie Eilish is going from strength to strength and yesterday she earned the Britney Spears seal of approval. The '90s pop icon took to her Instagram account to recreate her famous dance routine for the song 'I'm a slave for you' to Billie Eilish's song 'Bad Guy'. In the caption for the video, Britney wrote "Great song !! It made me pick up another ? @billieeilish" and tagged the singer. Billie Eilish's response was simply "OMG".

Britney recently took a brief hiatus from social media. The '90s pop sensation checked into a mental health facility in Las Vegas in January of this year, due to stress over financial conservatorship, and stress over her father's illness. She also cancelled her residency show in Las Vegas. She recently posted pictures of her enjoying her free time with a leisurely cycle in the park and this latest post is almost like Britney passing on the torch to the new generation of pop.
