This show-stopping performance received a standing ovation from the crowd. Fans took to Twitter to share their reactions to the performance but something else that was picked up on with the performance was the 'chemistry' between the two stars.

Piers Morgan took to Twitter to speculate and accused the singer of ‘crossing a line’ during their performance.

The overall feeling towards the performance was that it is close and intimate to mirror the film. 'A Star is Born' missed out on the biggest award of the night the Best Picture award. Green Book was named the Best Picture in a surprising win.

Lady Gaga accepted the award for best original song for 'Shallow' with an emotional and impassioned acceptance speech:

Thank you so much. And if you are at home, and you're sitting on your couch and you're watching this right now, all I have to say is that this is hard work. I've worked hard for a long time, and it's not about, you know...it's not about winning. But what it's about is not giving up. If you have a dream, fight for it. There's a discipline for passion. And it's not about how many times you get rejected or you fall down or you're beaten up. It's about how many times you stand up and are brave and you keep on going.

It's great to see Lady Gaga's talent recognises. We applaud you. She also looked sensational on the night wearing custom made Alexander Mc Queen.
