WATCH: Miley Cyrus Hilariously Updates Lyrics To 'Santa Baby' To A More Modern, Feminist Version

Miley Cyrus is a world renowned actress, singer, vegan, LGBT activist, and feminist. She has always made herself very outspoken and never shies away from  a bit of controversy.

When she appeared on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight show on Thursday evening to perform a sketch on Eartha Kitt's Santa Baby, she began by questioning Jimmy on the relevance of these lyrics in this day and age.

Cyrus goes on to explain why she wants to change a few of the lyrics before the performance.

"Looks at this! Slip a sable under the tree, for me... Do you even know what that is?! It's a fur! And I'm Vegan!"

Miley goes through the list of expensive things the song asks Santa to bring, including a platinum mine and a yacht, to which Miley states, "Am I saying I'm going to hook up with Santa if he buys me all this stuff?" before her and Jimmy rush off to start the sketch.

As they begin, it's clear Miley is updating the lyrics to fit a more feminist, equal world, in a hilarious rendition of the song.

"Santa baby, I don't need any fancy jewelry. Not me. I've got something else in mind."

"Don't want diamonds, cash or stocks. Nothing that comes in a box. No more fluff, I've had enough. And I can buy my own damn stuff."

"Santa Baby, I got a baller car on my own, alone. I bought it all by myself. Santa Baby, with zero help from elf on the shelf."

Miley then goes on to hit the best one liner of the song which receives enormous applause from the audience while Jimmy Fallon and Mark Ronson dance awkwardly in the background.

"Listen Santa, to what I say. A girls best friend is equal pay! So stop interrupting me when I talk, and DON'T text me pictures of your-", where Miley is cut off by Marks ringing phone.
