Let's paint the scene, your feeling fragile, college deadlines are looming or you're getting over a recent break-up or just shaking off a bad Tinder date. You don't know if you want to laugh or cry or if you want a large tub of ice cream or an even larger Gin & Tonic. Well, do we have good news for you.
Now thanks to Lidl and Half Cut ice cream you don't have to choose on the latter. On choosing between laughing and crying we can't help on that one but I find a hysterical mixture of both works quite well for me, although many would disagree.
This new addition to Lidl's freezer aisle come in three different flavours, the Gin & Tonic alcohol infused sorbet, Prosecco sorbets for celebrations or Mojito sorbet for a summers day treat. The Half Cut ice creams are €4.50 per tub. About half the price of a Hendricks Gin & Tonic with cucumber or grapefruit if you're feeling fancy.

Gin, not your thing, last week a Spar in Cabra with a chest- freezer filled with Kinder Bueno ice- cream came to our attention.
It's absolutely baltic out but there's a hint of summer in the air, perhaps, at brief intervals throughout the day. We have ice- cream on the mind.
