Leaving Cert Students React To Their Results On Twitter

The Leaving Cert came and went back in June and nearly every 17 or 18-year-old took a sigh of relief, that is until today. Yes, the Leaving Cert results for 2017 have been released and nearly 58,550 students around the country are opening their results as we speak.

Dublin, Cork, and Galway had the largest number of students sitting their Leaving Cert and Leitrim had the smallest with only 466 students. More women than men sat the Leaving Cert, by a small percentage, and  300 more men than women sat the Leaving Cert Applied.

Of course, Twitter was full of 'best of luck' wishes for anxious students, which we all know does nothing to ease the nerves, with messages from famous faces reminding students if a reality star can become President, you'll be fine:
