Trippy Temples Album Is A Psychedelic Treat

1.       Hot Press have Temples earmarked as their Number One of the most exciting International acts to keep an eye on for 2014

 2.       The opening track on their new album, Sun Structures, ‘Shelter Song’, is one of the best singles we’ve heard in a long time and sets the tone perfectly for the rest of the album

3.       Music critics have been unanimous in their pronouncements that Temples, and their debut album Sun Structures (out this week), will be setting the standard for rock music in 2014

4.       Two of their most outspoken fans are only Johnny Marr, The Smiths guitarist, and Noel Gallagher, who have stated they are the best new bad in Britain, praise indeed, isn’t that right Noel?

5.       80’s band Roxette once sang ‘She’s Got The Look’, and while your granny might think the boys look a little feminine with those hairstyles, they certainly have ‘The Look’

 6.       A few bands have done a good job of recreating 60’s psych-rock like Tame Impala, but we think Temples have nailed it, with nods to T-Rex, The Byrds, The Zombies and The Velvet Underground all to be found it their music, groovy

7.       Latest single ‘Keep In The Dark’ sounds like a John Lennon and Marc Bolan collaboration that never happened, and it’s a wonderfully hazy foot-stomper

8.       The band is not even together a year, have played the O2 Arena in London, supported Suede, and their first double single ‘Colours To Life’ / ‘Shelter Song’ has already become a collector’s item, watch their star rise

9.   Previous single ‘Colours To Life’ captures their chilled out throwback vibe perfectly, check it out here via Soundcloud

10.   Temples' new album Sun Structures will undoubtedly rocket onto the airwaves very soon and thoroughly deserves the 4/5 stars we’re giving it
