The Ultimate J1 Job: Here's How You Could Coach Soccer In The US

If you haven't already gone on your J1, you're probably itching to get over to the US this summer. But where do you start? Sure, you could work in a bar or restaurant, but what about doing something that is not only fun but also looks amazing on your CV, like coaching soccer in America?

Yep, you heard that right: USIT's Coach Soccer USA programme is an opportunity to coach soccer during the summer! You don't need coaching experience, you just need to be good with kids and love football. The best part is that even if you aren't studying, you can still apply - this opportunity is open to anyone between 18 and 30.

Check out the video below to learn more about this unique opportunity from Fintan, who went on USIT's Coach Soccer USA programme last year:

Interested? So the deal is, you'll need to attend an assessment before getting hired, and the cost starts at €999. That includes flights*, visa, accommodation, meals and medical insurance.

If you like the sound of this but also wanted to travel too, you can get 30 days at the end of the contract to see the US. Score!
