Buckfast Has Undergone A Groundbreaking Revolution

Anyone who loves Buckfast will have a strong relationship to the tonic wine. It's a drink brewed by monks and has made even the heaviest of drinkers quite literally fall to their knees. Well, prepare for a revolution of sorts, in the form of Buckfast infused beer.

Yes, you heard us right. The beer, which was created King Kong Company and YellowBelly Beer, is called Commotion Lotion and it will be hitting the shelves this Thursday, June 22nd.

Commotion Lotion will be in 330ml cans and is described as "a beer built specifically for festivals". You better grab it while you can though, as the brew is only around for a limited time. The lads at King Kong have even described one brewer as having to be "dragged out from under a tank, cradling a slab of cans, hissing “preciousssssss” as the things were being loaded into a delivery van".

The beer comes in a funky can and promises to be "refreshing, packed with fruit and easy to drink". We trust the lads at YellowBelly beer, as last year they were crowned Gold Medal Winners at the Alltech International Beer Cup 2017.

Is the combination worth trying? Sure, there's only one way to find out.
