A Massive Dog Gathering Is Happening This Weekend And It's All For A Good Cause

Without doggos life would just not be the same. They're man's best friend for more than just their ability to comfort you during the depths of your hangover.

To celebrate their brilliance as guide dogs, the Irish Guide Dogs charity is hosting a series of dog walks across the country. The 'Dogs Unite' walk brings all our super dogs together for a special event to celebrate the magic of the canine.

The first 5km dog walk is happening in Dublin's Phoenix Park but, don't fret, you can catch this dog walk happening in Ennis as well, while there have already been events in Cork and Limerick.

The Dublin event will begin at the Papal Cross on Sunday, September 23 from 11.30am. The Ennis dog walk will take place from the Lees Road, Ennis Sport & Amenity Park were the canines will be uniting at the Club House for the beginning of the walk. The walk takes place from Sunday, 14 October and starts at 11.30 am.

While you don't need a dog to join the 5km walk, your doggo will receive its very own superhero cape. The event costs €10 for an adult and a cape or €20 for two adults and a cape.
